Before arrival
You will have followed the prep checklist and clear-liquid diet. Arrive on time with your Medicare Card, Health Insurance Details, a current medication list, and a ride home.
During the exam
You will receive sedation to keep you comfortable. The procedure typically takes 20–30 minutes, and you will rest briefly afterward.
After care
You will need a ride home. Most people resume normal activities the next day. Your doctor will share results and follow-up plans.
